Your Habits Are The Framework That Builds Your Life

Key to the problemThe unfortunate truth for many is that you get to choose your own master. You choose your habits, and because of that choice your life is shaped. This includes your waistline. The habits you choose are the main reason if you are in great shape, 20 pounds overweight or obese.

Life is not a dress rehearsal; you get no do-over, therefore you must choose wisely. Do you want to live a life of health and enjoy longevity? Most people say yes, but their habits demonstrate something totally different.

The attitude and lifestyle of an over comer never gives in to self defeating habits. When you allow bad habits into your life you are allowing a robbing of your future, taking you to a place you don’t want to be.

People who have gained weight went to a place they did not want to go, clothes they did notfat in car want to wear. Their future is not shaping up to what they deserve. It all started with a wrong choice which led to a wrong habit. One pound led to 5, 5 pounds led to 10 and eventually 30 pounds and more.

What is your “Fat Risk Number” Do you have belly fat that makes you prone to heart disease, stroke, cancer and an overall depressed immune system.

What is included in your diet? Are you eating an abundance of processed foods from a box? Little real nutritional value, loaded with carbohydrates, preservatives, cancer causing food coloring, and other items you cannot pronounce? Are you drinking soda pop? Yes especially diet soda? If you answered yes then you are putting your health at risk.

Sugar is more addictive than cocaine, and NutraSweet causes you to crave more sugar not to mention is associated with a number of neurological conditions. The carbonation causes your body to lose minerals, putting you at risk for additional health risks including osteoporosis. Just say no to soda. Make it your habit to choose water, add a lemon or lime if you wish. Tea is a good choice especially green tea.

You decide your habits… and your habits decide your future! You are what you are today because of the choices you have made and are making. Do you choose fresh vegetables, fruit and high quality meat protein? Eating metabolism boosting foods will cause you to live longer, be thinner and enjoy better health.

Avoid the white sugar, white flour, heavily processed food, fast food grease pits and TV dinners. For some of you this may seem difficult. Remember: what we can walk away from is what you have mastered, but what you can’t walk away from or say no to has mastered you.

What about exercise; Are you doing any? It is not a secret; everyone has heard that exercise is good for you, yet only a small percentage actually partake. One of the reasons may be you don’t know which exercise you should be doing for abundant health. Most people are doing the wrong type of exercise if they want a stronger heart, higher lung capacity and a high metabolism to burn fat on overdrive.
